Miscellaneous NPCs of Neverwinter

The following article consists of people of Neverwinter who are not remarkable enough to feature in an article of their own. Ranging from merchants, members of the Temple of Waukeen and relatives of White Council members, it is truly a mishmash of any/everyone in Neverwinter.

Table of Contents
Kirvan (Kir) Aramar

Kirvan (Kir) Aramar is a Half-Elf instructor at the Neverwinter Fighter's College. Friend to Big Jim and Ceva, he was paired with Azoren Embersong during a blind date event, during which they hit it off and began dating. He is a half-elven man native to Neverwinter and comes from a very large family, the subject of which is something of a running joke among the people of the city.

Kit Bonegrip

Kit Bonegrip is the head of the Mason's Guild and suspected member of the Neverwinter Resistance. An Orc woman, she is renowned for being no-nonsense and a good boss.

Lee and Camilla Hargrove

Lee and Camilla Hargrove are a Human brother and sister who own a farm outside of Neverwinter. Featured in one of the very first bounties every run, they were troubled by bandits on their farm. Later, Camilla was kidnapped by a tax collector operating out of bounds (but with the blessing of the White Council) before being rescued by the Guild and returned to her brother. The treatment of the Hargroves at the hands of the White Council is cited by some members of the Guild as being the formative event that led to their joining the Neverwinter Resistance.

Lady Jastira Ilizana

Lady Jastira Ilizana is the mother of Mallon Ilizana. A formidable presence in Neverwinter, she is considered by many to be difficult to get along with, though she is much-beloved by her son.

Wild Huckleberry

Wild Huckleberry (yes, that is his given name) is the head chef of the Book in Hand Tavern, widely considered to be one of the best restaurants in the city. He pays well for foraged goods and is a favorite among druids of the city, some of who claim that his generosity when it comes to paying for mushrooms each fall covers their rent for the year.

Sally Jack (The Spiced Nut Lady)

Sally Jack is a Human vendor in the Neverwinter Open Air Market. Known more widely as the Spiced Nut Lady, she makes and sells the best spiced nuts in the city for a very reasonable fee. The stories about the Spiced Nut Lady are many; her ire is widely feared out of all proportion with the scope of her empire. She is also a prominent officer of the Merchant's Guild and has a notably luxurious house, implying she either has other investments or spiced nuts are a shockingly lucrative trade.

She is perhaps most notorious for having banned Eimar Daj from shopping at her cart. The reasons given as to why are varied, but it is known that sharing nuts with Daj is enough to get anyone who dares to do so banned as well. On the other hand, Bounty Hunters can avail themselves of a 25% discount if they promise to eat their nuts in front of Daj.

Potential Spoilers

Sally Jack is also a notable Resistance leader. She has brought a number of missions to the Bounty Hunter's Guild resistance cell.

Jim the Smith

Jim the Smith is a Gnomish blacksmith and adoptive father to Big Jim Cordoroy. Little is known about him. He is friends with Ceva, though it is unclear how they met, and a devout follower of Tyr.

Junebug

Junebug is the adopted Human child of Burke Halpin, head of the Merciful Maiden Tavern and former head of the Thieves' Guild.

Julia Kindwinter

Julia Kindwinter is a Human Priestess of Waukeen and former head of the Temple of Waukeen. Cousin to Harmonium Kindwinter, she left the city following Harmonium's exile.

Lachlan Kindwinter

Lachlan Kindwinter was the son of Harmonium Kindwinter. A spoiled young Human man, he was notorious for using his mother's position as a member of the White Council to escape from justice, including avoiding being charged with the murder of Stelios Markou, a bartender in the Harbor Quarter that Lachlan is believed to have murdered following a dispute over an unpaid bill. Disappearing shortly after a very public duel with Invis Winterenvy Jr, Lachlan's remains were found in the basement of the Winterenvy townhouse in Neverwinter, and he is now believed to have been another one of Winterenvy Jr's victims.

Mouse Spouse Guy

Mouse Spouse Guy (also known as the Poison Vendor) is a vendor who hawks his wares out of the Merciful Maiden Tavern in the Harbor Quarter. His real name is unknown. Often told to "let it go" by Burke, he is notorious for the patter he engages in each time someone approaches his table:

Ah, you! Do you have a spouse problem -- I mean, a mouse problem? Mouse, spouse -- who would marry a mouse?"

Mouse Spouse Guy is a holdover from the (now-defunct) Stalker campaign, and was introduced at the behest of players. Poisons can be purchased from him. Prices and inventory vary.

Nova Royce

Nova Royce is a Human merchant in the Mercantile Quarter. A glassblower by trade, they also sell and trade common objects, and offer a 25% discount to Guild members in need of common items.

Alexander Sinmouth

Alexander Sinmouth is a Half-Elf newspaper owner. Running the Neverwinter Daily News, he is a notorious conspiracy theorist who believes that the city is controlled by an elite Undead cabal (the "Wight Council").

Violette (Columnist)

Violette is the pseudonym of a columnist who wrote previously for the Neverwinter Chronicle and now writes for the Neverwinter Voice. Her columns are full of blind items regarding certain (in)famous people about the city. While her identity is unknown, most people in Neverwinter have a guess as to who she is. More plausible guesses range from Ceva Valroyna to Sally Jack. Whatever her identity, her columns are beloved by certain factions in the city, and she has been suspected on more than one occasion of working for the Neverwinter Resistance.

Nisha Vince

Nisha Vince is an Orc woman who co-owns and runs Bartleby's Tavern (better known as the Stone's Throw to those in the Guild). A skilled fighter, she gave up the adventuring life to marry her wife and run the tavern across the street from the Guild.

Zeb and Rose Waterloo

Zeb and Rose Waterloo are a pair of dapper goblins who live with their giant spiders, Holly and Jolly, in a renovated former mine just outside of Phandalin. Sympathetic to the cause of the Resistance, they have historically helped members of the Resistance with missions involving the town of Phandalin and its resources.

Ted Whipple

Ted Whipple is a retired Human fighter who is the father to Annabelle Whipple. A former Neverwinter City Guard, he was arrested and charged with a crime he did not commit, spending part of her adolescence in the Neverwinter City Prison before being released. Following his release, he relocated to Phandalin, where he worked as an adventurer-for-hire and caravan guard. Despite claiming he is "old and infirm", Ted is notoriously good with a sword and is in excellent physical shape.

Emmet White

Emmet White is a Human man who is the current head of the Neverwinter Gentlefolk Society (better known as the Thieves' Guild).

Invis Winterenvy Jr

Invis Winterenvy Jr was the Elven son of Invis Winterenvy Sr, brother to Leda Winterenvy and Vanya Winters, and the presumptive heir to the Winterenvy estate. The former head of the Neverwinter Assassins Guild, he was arrested for murder following the discovery of several bodies at his country house. Subsequent investigation followed by a criminal trial found him guilty of 10+ counts of murder, including the murder of Lachlan Kindwinter, and sentenced to death by hanging. Rumor claims that prior to his death, his father, Invis Winterenvy Sr, made a deal with the Lord of Winter to see his son bound to that Court, drawing on (claimed) family ties to see his son spared from death.

Leda Winterenvy

Leda Winterenvy is the Elven daughter of Invis Winterenvy Sr and sister to Invis Winterenvy Jr and Vanya Winters. A former student of Eimar Daj, she is believed to have fled the city following her brother's conviction, opting to attend the University of Suzail to finish her studies.

Vanya Winters

Vanya Winters is the Elven daughter of Invis Winterenvy Sr and sister to Invis Jr and Leda Winterenvy, as well as Ceva Valroyna. Raised primarily by Sana Winterenvy, she was disowned by her father following her marriage and now lives in Luskan with her husband, a cobbler of common origin.

Felix Wyndle

Felix Wyndle is a Human priest of Waukeen and the former head of the Temple of Waukeen in Neverwinter. A close personal friend of Invis Winterenvy, it is believed that he achieved his position by leveraging his political ties and not the favor of the goddess. Following an inability to perform certain magic relevant to his position, as well as being found in a compromising position, he was dismissed from his position with prejudice and cast out from the Temple of Waukeen.

Zemwar

Zemwar (last name unknown) is a falafel vendor. Originally hailing from Amn, their race, age and pronouns are all unknown. What is known is that they are fond of Eimar Daj, who created the tagline for their cart ("Zemwar's Falafel: Quick, Not Awful"), and that their cart is larger on the inside than it is on the outside. They are suspected of being a Djinn or other minor god, though this has never been proven.
