Vaeril Elra
Vaeril (Vae) Elra is a socialite and junior member of the White Council. Known in the papers as "Waukeen's Favorite Socialite", she is a recognized Master of Illusion, though she does not advertise this fact widely. Following an interruption in her wedding to a minor Waterdhavian Lord, she is now married to Mathienne Feywinter. While her motivations are unclear, Elra has indicated that she does not support her wife's positions, and has in fact worked to undermine her on several occasions.
Mathienne Feywinter
See Mathinnne Feywinter for full details.
Mathienne Feywinter is a member of House Feywinter and current junior councilor on the White Council. Cousin to Mallon Ilizana and wife to Vaeril Elra, she is the bound protector of the sword Blackrazor, a legendary longsword of particularly ill repute. Feywinter has been involved in several schemes and has been thwarted by the Neverwinter Resistance multiple times.
Cilieren Horith
Cilieren Horith is a socialite and current junior member of the White Council. Much of her personal life has been extensively covered in Violette's Columns, but little is known about her beyond her recent spate of populist measures introduced in the Council.
Mallon Ilizana
Mallon ("Mal") Ilizana is current Lord Ilizana and heir to the Ilizana fortune. Married by accident to Benthos (Benny) Haichen, he is a graduate of the Fighter's College and very much does not wish to be on the White Council, please and thank you.
Harmonium Kindwinter
Harmonium Kindwinter was a Senior Councilor on the White Council prior to her resignation. Mother to Lachlan (murdered by Invis Winterenvy Jr), she was notorious in the city for being somewhat unstable and difficult to work for. Related to Julia Kindwinter (former head of the Temple of Waukeen), she was sentenced to death by hanging following a seditious attempt to steal the first Neverwinter Council Election, though this was commuted to exile from the city by her fellow councilors. It is believed that after her trial and exile that she returned to the city of Baldur's Gate. Little has been heard of her since.
Temdess Longwinter
Temdess Longwinter is a former Paladin of Tyr and current senior member of the White Council. The only remaining White Council member to have sworn the magically-binding oath that sees him upholding protection of the city, he is largely removed from the petty machinations of other Council members. A widower, his sole remaining family died in a "mine collapse" caused by the Neverwinter Resistance, a fact that has yet to be brought to his attention.
Taran Miraleth
Taran Miraleth is a Priest of Angharradh and current junior member of the White Council. Hailing from Star's Fall, Taran did not originally run for Council of his own volition, but was forced into the race by the machinations of Elion Qinro. Taran studied as a student at the College of Neverwinter (declared major: abjuration), graduating after four years and declining further study. He does not identify as a wizard but primarily as a Councilor and priest of his goddess, and is seen by many in the city as being a "man of peace" as he does not carry weapons and has no known martial skills. He was one of the first two democratically elected councilors (along with Annabelle Whipple).
Solana Presna
Solana Presna is a junior member of the White Council and owner of the Leaded Glass Tavern. A member of the Neverwinter Resistance, she struck a plea deal after turning in her fellow conspirators following the events of the First Neverwinter Revolution, and was subsequently promoted to Councilor in exchange for her cooperation. A supposed gambling addict, Presna is still linked to the Resistance and is notorious for using her position to thwart her fellow Councilors, most of whom look at her track record as a supposed gambler and simply do not believe she is capable of the level of thought or detail needed to thwart them.
Durikon Stonefist
Durikon Stonefist is a junior member of the White Council. A former Priest of Tyr, they were appointed by Elion Qinro following their departure from the Council. Their appointment to the Council was the subject of much debate, eventually culminating in a compromise vote that saw Solana Presna giving up her appointment to Senior Councilor in exchange for their confirmation.
Tanyl Vahorn
Tanyl Vahorn is a junior member of the White Council. Relatively little else is known about her. Rumors in the city indicate that her vote can be bought, but this has never been investigated or successfully proven.
Artin Winterenvy
Artin Winterenvy is a former Senior Councilor of Neverwinter. Great-great grandmother to Invis Winterenvy, she was the head of the Winterenvy Family and is believed to be the person who trapped Thalan Shara ("the Masked One") in the Mirror of Life Trapping prior to her death during the destruction of Neverwinter roughly 200 years before the game's start date. Little else is known about her, but she is described in various different texts as having been a "good" Councilor.
Annabelle Whipple
Annabelle Whipple is a former merchant and current junior Council member. Daughter of Ted Whipple, she owned a shop in the Neverwinter Mercantile Quarter before quitting to run for Council, on a platform of providing universal elementary education for all of Neverwinter, a promise she has since delivered on. She was one of the first two democratically elected councilors (alongside Taran Miraleth).
Invis Winterenvy, Sr.
See Invis Winterenvy, Sr. for full details.
Invis Winterenvy Sr. is an Elven man and the head of the Winterenvy family, one of the founding families of Neverwinter. Originally from Waterdeep, he is a Senior Councilor on the White Council and has been responsible for the running of the Council for several years. He is presently in the midst of retiring from the Council.
Jassin Zinyra
Jassin Zinyra is a junior member of the White Council. Formerly of Waterdeep, most of their interactions with the Guild have revolved around their ties to House Brokengulf -- specifically, how House Brokengulf seeks revenge against them for the death of their scion, and wants to see them destroyed as well.
Past Members
Rolim Cardell
Rolim Cardell was a junior member of the White Council. A Winterenvy loyalist, he was subjected to the spell Feeblemind by Eimar Daj during the rescue of Sister Greeley, a cleric of Tymora who was sentenced to death after being blamed for the actions of the Neverwinter Resistance. Following his healing from Feeblemind at the Temple of Selune in Waterdeep, Cardell remained incapable of speaking but indicated through pictures his unwillingness to return to the Council. His daughter, Ren Cardell, a former Winterenvy assassin turned Priestess of Angharradh, has overseen his care since his discharge from the Temple.
Harmonium Kindwinter
Harmonium Kindwinter was a Senior Councilor on the White Council prior to her resignation. Mother to Lachlan (murdered by Invis Winterenvy Jr), she was notorious in the city for being somewhat unstable and difficult to work for. Elion Qinro
See Elion Qinro for full details.
Elion Qinro ("El" to their friends) is a half-elven person who currently serves as a Priest of Torm at a shrine outside of Neverwinter. A former Senior Councilor on the White Council, they were involved in a number of plotlines that had to do with trying to bring about certain events in the city, including calling for the first Neverwinter Election, re-opening the College of Neverwinter, and attempting to see Valen Daj sacrificed to the Court of Night in exchange for the soul of their friend Serai. Formerly romantically linked to Benthos (Benny) Haichen, they were a powerful warlock in their own right, stealing power from one of the Great Old Ones before this link was severed and their soul rejoined by the actions of members of the Guild.

Great-great grandmother to Invis Winterenvy, she was the head of the Winterenvy Family and is believed to be the person who trapped Thallan Shara ("the Masked One") in the Mirror of Life Trapping prior to her death during the destruction of Neverwinter roughly 200 years before the game's start date.
