Invis Winterenvy, Sr.

Invis Winterenvy Sr. is an Elven man and the head of the Winterenvy family, one of the founding families of Neverwinter. Originally from Waterdeep, he is a Senior Councilor on the White Council and has been responsible for the running of the Council for several years. Prior to his work in Neverwinter, he was head of an elite group of assassins in Waterdeep, work he continued in Neverwinter before its disbanding following the death of his son, Invis Winterenvy Jr. 

A dour man, Winterenvy is often considered to be the face of what is wrong in Neverwinter. Rocked by scandal and tragedy, he has become a much quieter man, and his former near-dictatorial hold on the city's politics has become somewhat vestigial. He is in the process of retiring from the White Council, prompting much wrangling over how it will run once he's gone.
